Topic: Still can't print with ABS
When I first tried ABS, I was able to print out a small own. After that, I haven't been able to get the ABS to feed consistently. I've tried temperature variations, changes on the filament tensioner, clean the print feeder a number of times and tried 2 different types of ABS, neither of which will feed.
Weird thing is if I put the head to the home position, and press the extrude button, it extrudes fine. Did this a number of times feeding 100 mm of line at a time.
Thinking that perhaps the peek was absorbing too much heat and slipping, I mounted a 40mm fan so that the peek is cooled. That didn't work, it still doesn't feed, just sets there stripping the filament.
No problem with PLA though.
I really need to get this to work with ABS.
Help.....
