Topic: In the news: UK police cast doubt on 3D-printed 'gun parts'

British officers said Friday they had seized what appeared to be gun components made on a 3-D printer — then, hours later, cast doubt on the find after technology experts said photos released by police appeared to be of parts for the printer itself.
Hahahahahahah. Egg on their faces.
Anyone who knows anything about 3D printers knows that any randomly selected thing produced on a 3D printer has about a 75% chance to be a 3D printer part, and of those that remain, about a 75% chance to be either a Yoda, an octopus magnet, or an interlocking gears display piece.
"Look out, there's a madman on the loose and he's got... oh, no, he's got a 3D printer! Run! Run for your lives!"
