We thought about doing an AMA with Sam a while back. The only issue is that the 3D printing subreddit is still a little smallish. It's getting better, but it's still nothing compared to proggit.
Hello, this is Juan and I'm relatively new in this, and I'm searching a new 3D printer in a lot of websites to find the correct one, and right now reading this make me a little confuse about who is telling the truth in this matter... :$
On one hand I can understand people are upset about the delay on their machines, if the company wasn't able to produce it, they shouldn't sold it, for sure, but in the other hand this company will try to defend themselves, but always we can take the risk of being lied to, becouse this guy spent already $20k, it's a huge amount of money... so the question that I have right now it's, this is the only one case like this or there are more cases?

You're posting in the wrong thread
But just to help with your fears, the Solidoodle doesn't have any terrible lead time issues like some other printers. We usually ship within 5-14 days.
He's in the right thread, The owner of Filabot claims to have invested $20k personally, which is where that number comes from in his post.

Ouch, looks like he got torn to shreds in the AMA. Didn't see that.
