Topic: 3D printed model rocket

Well, since my oldest son is developing an interest in model rocketry, I figured I would print out a unique rocket from Thiniverse to show him the benefits of digital manufacturing and design. It prints in four different sections, and then threads together. I'm not sure if it will fly well, but it was a blast to print, and the biggest thing to come off of my SD2 since I bought it.

Cheers!

Re: 3D printed model rocket

I promise I'll get a vid of it. My son's Civil Air Patrol squadron will be doing it's monthly rocketery day in a few weeks. I have printed out a couple of "single-use" rockets that are under four inches tall as well. These will be guilt free when they don't come back wink.
