is this the same wire sleeving that is used on the Solidoodle.

Yes, not sure on which size you need though.

I replaced mine with this split tube - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DP3 … &psc=1

You can replace it, or take individual wires in and out without needing to disconnect all of the wires at one end.
