Topic: Slic3r Questions: Solid Infill

Hey Guys,

So I did some searching but I can't find any solution to the problem. Im printing, what I call a cap, upside down. The Walls of the cap are not filling completely/ at all and its always starting and stoping at the same point even though randomize starting points is on. I've tried infill at .99 and 1 but still get the same result as if it was .2.

Here are screen shots of the vizualized g code and some others.

Re: Slic3r Questions: Solid Infill

Does setting the "make every 1 infill layer solid" option work?

Tried that as well, didn't change a thing

Re: Slic3r Questions: Solid Infill

Does the width of the wall divide evenly into 4 perimeters at your extrusion width?  It looks like once the perimeters are in, it is too wide to be filled by one thread, but too narrow to be filled by 2 so it does the best it can with a fill pattern.  You can try reducing the extrusion width to a number that is closer to dividing evenly by the wall thickness, but don't go smaller than the size of your nozzle.  Or make the wall a little thicker and set to 2 perimeters so once it has done 2 outer and 2 inner the wall is solid.
