I have been part of the forums for a few months now, mainly just little notes.  I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself.  I have been interested in 3D printing for a while.  I started out using a makerbot at work (3 actually).  I kept using repeiter host to verify the gcode, so when it came time to get one for home figured SD3 would be great.  Like many others I was frustrated with it at first, but now I really enjoy printing with it.  I mainly use skeinforge as my slicer, never got slic3r to work right. 

I use Creo 2.0 as my CAD software (been using ptc products for about 6 years full time).

I am interested in getting involved and helping out with new developments.  Current project is upgrading my printer with the all metal E3D extruder, then trying to print poly carb, nylons, and any other interesting material.

Open to new ideas and questions are always welcome.
