I need to try a glass plate on my printer.
Hairspray does make it stick to the metal bed, but I worry about damage to the printer trying to get the part lose.
Just hope the glass wont break and damage me.

Look in the housewares dept of your favorite big box store for a candle display mirror. They're usually thicker than "normal" mirrors since its expected for it to be bumped and banged around; plus exposed to heat. The one I have is about 1/4" thick, so I did have to adjust my Z-Stop quite a bit but I've yet to have a problem with parts sticking since I switched to it.
