Topic: ysb's models! :)

the kiss me one took 8 hours and 57 minutes. eta according to Octoprint lol

the panther one, not sure about the time, sad forgot to write it down.

in my own mind, I'm an artist smile, I airbrush, oil paint ( bob ross style ).  I might take the kiss me one and airbrush on it, making it look like granite.

some day, I hope to be near as good of a model artist like ysb! very impressive work!

Re: ysb's models! :)

ysb! if your new to airbrushing, I might be able to help some with that big_smile like use Bulldog adhesion promoter on any plastic before airbrushing / painting. lol

primers will stick, but it's not exactly the right stuff if you want to paint on plastic. for the most part it should be ok. if it works for you, stay with it. but if you notice any peeling or chipping of the paint, it's because it didn't adhere to the plastic well enough. bulldog is just a adhesion promoter, it's not really a primer or a paint, it's more of a prep product.

all of the stuff I have learned for airbrushing has been hobby realm,  mainly in the form of painting on metal ( like cars) or cresant board for portaits, or t-shirts. but I have learned to paint on plastics. I'm do not paint for a living, it was just hobby type, on and off for 5+ years.

for a living I am a computer nerd. I work as a data recovery engineer for 18+ years, specializing in raids, rebuild damaged file systems.

Plastic paints work well, especially model car paints and primers.
