Topic: Help with a 123D Catch

I made this face model using 123D Catch and would like to create a smooth base and add a little more to the backside of it. What the back looks like isn't as important so long as I can eliminate overhangs. Could someone give me a run down on a good procedure for this type of clean up? I already ran it through netfabb to clean it up and reduce file size as much as possible.

Did you use a single camera on that or multiple?  Faces can be tough in 123D because the slightest movement between shots can mess it up and reduce your detail.  I haven't had too much luck, but I've mostly tried with kids, who are too wiggly.

Thanks for that Vid, White Star. Interesting. I need some basic training videos on the use of NetFabb and MeshLab. I'm sure Goggle is hiding dozens of them.  smile

I took like 20 to 30 shots with one camera. She was sitting down so she stayed much more still than in most of my projects with her. I hope to work more with people. I wonder if there is a way to have them close their eyes and somehow add them back in later since blinking has been an issue.

Thanks. I think I've seen this video before. I don't recall, did it mention anything about adding more to the object to remove overhangs or just create a level bottom with no holes?
