Topic: crumbly support material on .1mm resolution prints
hello everybody, so i went through got everything sorted out and was getting more beautiful prints in .3 and .2mm resolution than i'd ever gotten before. so now i'm tackling .1mm last because it takes the longest and isn't as important to me as the other two settings i listed. so i everything runs great on the prints and actually the prints turn out fine, but the infill and support material don't really turn out that great, the actual print runs fine though. the inside of my prints looks more like a sponge than a set of hexagons and the support material just sort of bunches up all over and really doesn't help anything. i'm not really sure why its not working so great, my one idea is that the print head is moving to fast, but the last thing i want to do is further slow down the .1mm setting lol... any ideas? i already set the width to the magic 1.4x the layer height (which helps a lot).
