Topic: My first 'real world' print job

A coworker had a finial that he needed for one that either broke or had been lost.  So he laser scanned it, meshed it up and sent me the stl.  I pushed the stl through netfab to close it up (the scan stl was not solid), and printed it out.  The print time was 6:05 and the SD3 ran flawlessly through the whole print.  layer height was set to .2
I'll post the stl up on thingverse later tonight.

That turned out nice. That would be a perfect project for Laywood filament.
