Topic: What is the best 3D printer you can buy in the next 4 months?

Every month I find announcements for a new 3D printer, which makes it very hard for me to decide which one to get.

I'm looking to use my 3D printer for prototyping engineering designs so I'm looking at these key attributes:

1. Print reliability and accuracy
2. Print resolution
3. Less need for calibration
4. Accepts different kinds of filaments

My budget is $4,000 and below.

Any ideas?

I'm not asking you to do the research for me. I've already spent many weeks looking at reviews but there just aren't enough to convince me on just one device yet.

I'm asking here for your personal opinions and suggestions.

i am in the same boat, i'm contemplating this: PROFI3DMAKER 3D

i know it is 6k, but i have had the worse experience with Mendelmax 2.0, i don't care about the money
i have wasted over the difference in price with my time.

if you are contemplating abs printing , your machine must be enclosed!!!
