Topic: Anyone printing rubbery filament with Solidoodle?

Anyone trying the Flex PLA or other soft rubbery filaments? How do you like it? How soft/pliable is it (subjective, I know)? Sturdy? Any special settings to use (compared to ABS)?

I have used http://www.3dprintergear.com.au/Black_S … lasoft.htm and it worked well.

I'll post a video tomorrow.. think plastic tank-tracks.. its 'rubbery' flexible but its not 'rubbery'...

I have this stuff bit it keeps bending between the gears and the hot end sadly causing a bunch up. If I could solve that the stuff seems neat

Loosen the tension arm right up - it grips quite well to the extruder gear and make sure your extruder fan is running of course smile

Slow the print speed down too

Other than that... is the filament path and barrel entry aligned ?
