Topic: Lost in space? Help!

Remember the movie The Philadelphia Experiment, where the men were atomized and re-assembled except some of them reappeared partially inside the hull of the ship, in bulkheads, etc? That's my problem.

My part seems to want to print only pieces... or something. Anyway, the attached pics show the part in netfabb after Automic Repair and Align To Plane are applied, then after Slic3r sliced it and tried to print it. Finally, I attached the original SketchUp drawing. As you can see, I killed the print job after a few layers when it was obvious that it wasn't printing the part correctly.

I'm running a brand new laptop with Win 8, a new Solidoodle 3G printer and the latest versions of Repetier, NetFabb Basic and SketchUp.

What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help.

Re: Lost in space? Help!

Reverse the faces in sketchup (right click a face, select 'select->all connected faces', right click again, select reverse faces...) Make them all white in sketchup.
and run it through cloud.netfabb.com (not the client, the cloud service).

Re: Lost in space? Help!

I just did what I discussed above for you; heres the two files fixed.

The only error remaining with the part is the faces at the bottom of the screw hole, but its fixed in this STL
