Topic: Teejay187`s models.

Hi,

I am making this thread to share my models. Though most of them will be specific for my needs, I want to share them.

The models will mostly be computer accessory.


I can start with the first model I ever modeled and printed. I use SketchUp for modeling and I learn new stuff every time I use it.

I appreciate how everyone is being on their best behavior with this but I am having trouble resisting.

Looks great though Teejay. Just keep your girlfriend away from your car. She might end up liking it better than she likes you.

SD3 w/ mods:
Glass bed with QU-BD heat pad upgrade, threadless ballscrew w/ 8mm smooth rod, spectra line belt replacement, lawsy MK5 extruder, Lawsy replacement carriage, E3D hotend, Ramps 1.4 w/ reprap discount controller, DRV8825 drivers, 12v 30A PS, Acrylic case, Overkill Y-idlers, Filament alarm, Extruder fan + more.

I can see how people are having trouble taking this serious! Hell, I literally ROFLMAO`d when screwing it on.

Also added the file. It has M10x1,25 threads. More designs will show up later!

So, are you going to do some custom matching knobs for the heater controls as well? then it may just blend in wink

I am going for more custom gear knobs. I am going to test some color changing materials later on. It changes color at 30 degrees celsius big_smile

The car is a 99` Mazda Miata. Mints for me! And for the tape player.. It isn`t even hooked up! Bought it that way...

There were some cars in that era that had separate tape players from the main unit. Auto makers designed them that way to make it more difficult to replace the radio. Obviously, your Clarion is not a factory radio. Now they are embedding the vehicle info into the radio so if it is stolen, it will (or should) not work in another vehicle. They are making it increasingly more difficult for aftermarket radio replacement.
