Topic: Anais

she's a lonely young elven princess, dreaming about her prince. After a long walk in the the Silver Garden, she decided to stop, to sit down and relax. A breath of fresh air waves her long braid. The sun plays through the trees and brings a little warmth on his bare shoulder

Anais is her name..

I woke up to find her sitting inside my printer this morning. What a pleasant surprise. smile

Looks like I need to adjust the angle of my fan. Not cooling off the small layers fast enough.

Re: Anais

do you reduce the size ? i print mine without any fan...only enclosure with the kisslicer profile i put here at 70% speed...

Re: Anais

Size is 1:1, I used slic3r and your INI. I will try kisslicer. This will be a good comparison.

Re: Anais

yes.. i'm curious as it seem you get a very different result from me for the head...(the body is perfect)

Re: Anais

Can you load this G-Code. Look at the head, this is from kiss. It seems to be missing some details at the head. This is probably what happened with slic3r

Re: Anais

Updated my shortcuts to actually use RH .85b and not .82. Everything looks like yours now even with slic3r.

Re: Anais

Still having trouble with that hair! I don't know what is going on. The rest of the model is just about perfect. .2mm layers. Maybe I need to back my heat down a few degrees.

Re: Anais

yep.. ... too much heat... use a fan or lower your temp if you use a controled enclosure
*happy*

Re: Anais

hiiii... mine was not a win... her face was burnt to death ....it's a tricky print.. that was i set her only for SLS printer..

Re: Anais

So I almost broke her pinky completely off trying to get the support material off. I can't see her mischievous smile anymore but I think you can tell it's there. The support material took away a lot of detail but I think it came out ... okay...
