Topic: What's wrong with my infill?

Here is a picture of my infill problem. The part I printed is just a cube with solid infill. The edges look nice, but when it fills the middle in, it looks different, like there is too much material. I messed with the extrusion multiplier and printed more cubes. Here is a picture of the cubes with the extrusion multiplier I used. .59 has holes in it, but the top looks the best. .64 has no holes but the top still looks like it has a little too much material.  Is there a way to fix this or is this as good as it gets?

Re: What's wrong with my infill?

are you certain your z tab adjustment is correct? also that your bed is totally level?

also if you are on a new roll of filament it might help to babysit the print and unroll the roll manually little by little. I found that my machine wasn't strong enough to pull the roll around and it was causing problems

p.s. this isn't really the section for this

I edit my posts a lot.

I didn't know what section to put this question in, sorry.

What is z tab?

The bed is level. The roll is new but I do babysit my machine to make sure the roll isn't too tight and make sure everything is printing good.

theres a screw on the back of the inside of the machine. It sits right next to the black wood(or alluminum) thing that moves the platform up and down. from the sound of you it could go down by about a half turn or so

Ok, the screw that adjust were the bed stops in the z position. It should be adjusted right. I can barely slide a piece of paper between the tip and the bed. I guess adjusting this up a little would raise the tip in all layers.

I just notice my picture didn't show up on the post. I will try to add it.

Remember turn the screw down to move the nozzle(tip) up smile
