Topic: Hosting your model for 3d printing out of thingiverse

ok... it's a free service... it's simple.. it's easy to use...and it not depend from a 3dprinter seller..

it's where i put my models ... i have zero (0 .. nada.. nothing.. rien..) interest in this site... i use for 2 months now because it work well... zero problem..

there is no limit of size in the hosting of your "shop", and you can easily import a model from thingiverse for futur use (or before thingiverse remove it .... very practical for borderline object )

you can set your model as "hidden" or not ... you can link the download from outside...even made a blog

the administrator , michael spivey, is very friendly and helpfull

i made this advice because this site deserves to be known

so if you search for a place like that:

http://www.makershop.co

I like grabcad personally but I have used thingiverse in the past, and grabcad has not censored any of my models like thingiverse did.

sure.. grabcad is good.... but it is more turned toward the "mechanical models" and the general 3D design. The printable models are very rare on grabcad... and it's not because it's a digital model that you can print it...

makershop is only for 3dprinted model..

@ysb - Thank you for using MakerShop.co. You make some great designs. We have focused the site on what 3D designers need to be successful to get fans and hopefully make money.

@ronsli - So I can better understand what type of 3D designs you post, what was censored?
