Topic: PLA Box

Here is a box with lid I created. Modeled in SolidWorks using the PowerSurfacing plugin, sliced with Kisslicer. 0.3mm layer height. The crowning has been sanded smooth up to 600 grit.

Re: PLA Box

Very nice, I like the lid, bravo... :° ), plus I plan to use PLA mostly... Next week I should receive my SD2 expert...

One question, do you use a fan on your print in progress? If so how did you mount it? Thanks..

Re: PLA Box

Yes, I use a fan for PLA, especially on the lid due to the small area layers of the handle tab. I use a variation of Lawsy's MarkIII extruder mount and a variation of Ian's ducted fan.
