Topic: SD3 using Repetier bundled with Slic3r

Trying to figure out how to best use slic3r thats built into Repetier. Should I run it in the seperate window and save the slic3r file then open it in Repetier? or run it within Repetier? How do you guys go about it?

Unless I have specific needs for slicing (that will be one-off) I just run it from RH.  Saves time as I mostly use my stock configs that I built.

Ah! ok, so create some configs for diffent types of parts. Like different fills, ect.

So basically drop the .stl file into the first tab of Repetier, then goto slic3r tab and load pre made config and slice. Check the Gcode tab. then run?

Thanks,

If you think you're going to print it again, you might want to save it from the Gcode tab to save the time of slicing it again the next time.  But otherwise, that.

Thanks for the help guys. I got it sorted now. Made a few configs for different infills and one for flow calibration.
