Here is my first kinect scan to 3d print. Not much clean up was done on the model and there was only one spot that the layer shifted when printing (visible by the right eye). I was not at home when it was printing but I suspect the filament tangled. I printed at .3 with 10% fill.
Looks nice. What software are you using with the Kinect?
I am using Reconstructme to scan. Then I cleaned up the stray bits and cut the bottom with Netfabb studio (Free). I will use meshlab to make some of the features clearer. This is a test because I am going to scan my my daughter and her fiance then print the topper for their wedding cake. I am sure I will print those at .1 resolution.
