Re: Cura Settings for da Vinci Printers

Has anyone found a way to stop the rf chip from recording the filament used? I tried a print using Cura last night using third party filament and a xyz rf chip from a spool with almost no filament left. Once the rf chip read zero the print stopped even though there was plenty of filament left.

I am using a mini w with firmware 1.3.9

Hello, I have XYZ davinci 1.0 pro with system version 1.4.0 and Cura version 3.6.0 .
I've tried several configurations but there has always been something wrong.
I am looking for help finding the correct settings for Cura and specifically I mean StartG-code, EndG-code

I have XYZ DaVinci PRO 3v1, with system version 1.2.1. For sending the slice to printer I use XYZprint version 2.0.5.
For slicing in CURA 4.8.0 I have just successfully tested the following settings:

Start GCode:
G21 ; set units to millimeters
M107
M108
M191
G90 ; use absolute coordinates
G92 E0
M82 ; use absolute distances for extrusion
G92 E0

End GCode:
M104 S0; Set Hot-end to 0C (off)
M140 S0; Set bed to 0C (off)
G92 E0
M84     ; disable motors

Hope this helps you out.

Re: Cura Settings for da Vinci Printers

I just got a used Mini W+.  I've tried using these Cura settings.  The print head moves as normal, but there is no extrusion whatsoever.  Any guesses about what I'm doing wrong?
