Topic: Newb

I recently got a SD2. I got it set up per sd wiki page and printed a couple really small things. However,  i always center the object on the object placement screen and it always starts printing from back right corner of bed. It draws the skirt which quite often goes off the bed and so do my prints. Is there a way to move where the printer starts from or auto detects where it should start? Thank you

Your starting point in your slicer needs to jive with the same real position on the printer.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Re: Newb

when you open RH, click on Config > Printer Settings
then go to the Printer Shape tab - this is where you tell RH the printer size and shape.

For Slic3r, you will also need to set up the printer size and shape in it's configuration settings.
If you are using Slic3r from within RH, there is (or should be) a configuration button on the slicing tab.. click on that to open it.
