Topic: New filastruder, motor stalls after only 30 min of total operation

Trying to commission a brand new filastruder.

Followed the stall protection instructions.

Then I let it heat up for 30 min to 180C.

After 30 min of it sitting at temp, ran it for about 30 min at 11.8V / 1.5 A and then the motor just stopped.

Tried increasing to 1.6 A, no luck.

Motor will not turn.

Also the output is dark grey, I'm guessing that is the contaminant flush color but wanted to confirm.

I searched the forums a bit and some people suggest trying higher temps. I tried 190 and 200 but no luck.

Should I try even higher temps?

The motor just won't even start turning. Does the stall protection board have a reset button or something? Something I'm missing?

Are you using the included white ABS pellets?  The flushing of the contaminants didn't result in 'dark grey' for me at all.  Have you contacted support at filastruder yet?
