Topic: Newly flashed Davinci 1.0 not executing end script G0 Z command

i am running a newly flashed 1.0 AIO and have set up a start and the following end script

M104 S0 ; turn off extruder
M140 S0 ; turn off bed
G10 ; short retract

G0 Z200 ; move Bed down    ** Does not work
G28 X Y ; home the head to it's X/Y Does work
M300 s1000 p400 ; play sound
M300 s1500 p400 ; play sound
M300 s2000 p400 ; play sound
M300 s2500 p400 ; play sound
M84 ; disable motors

This is sent from S3D

if I enter the G0 Z command manually it does nothing but the machine returns Read ok 0

Any thoughts?

Use G1..

i thinking's have tried several variations of G0 and G1 they work for the X and Y but not Z. i 30% through an 11 hour print I will try it later.

Look at the firmware and make sure there is not a hard max limit set that is less than 200. It will only move as far as that set limit will allow. You also need to be in absolute positioning mode to send an axis to an exact value. If you are in relative positioning mode then all moves are relative to the previous so it will simply add 200 to the previous Z location which again may be more than a hard limit.

When I first tried this I gave it incremental commands starting at 10. The z move command in the machine menu works fine. Again I can’t do anything until this job finishes.

As to the FW is there a specific section to look at!

AiO have a scanner plate so we put 190:
#define Z_MAX_LENGTH 190 - ENDSTOP_Z_BACK_ON_HOME

Limited testing but seems I can enter G1 Z100 then G1 Z180 and it works. I tried G1 Z190 and it did not move. Same if I go straight to G1 Z180
