Thanks for your confirmation that it should work for all FWs.

My issue is that this Da Vinci MiniMaker printer seem to have a very old FW so i would like to update to the latest, but worried that it would break the Tag.

I currently only have 1 tag and is waiting for more tag to come before i update the FWs.

In your reply, "Sometimes you have to exclude the printer and software from internet", can you explain why it is sometimes and not all the time?

He meant sometimes as in with some printers such as XYZ machines you want to block them but you may not want to block others.

I had used a dedicated laptop and this minimaker is offline, but on a few of my initial prints i see that the printer behaves strangely. so i just want to update the FW to 1.1.5 (before 1.0.x) and see if it make a difference.

Last night i have updated the FW to 1.1.5 and the tag is still recognized and i believe it will still print ok. I have not tried to print new print.

Just bought some NTAGs.  Before I buy third party filament I want to see if I can successfully flash them and determine how the printer acts with an empty spool.  I am currently using a DaVinci Mini and I also want to see how well the spool holder will handle the larger/heavier spools (300m vs 200m).

I recieved my NTAGs in the mail.  I was eager to see how this worked, but when I open the NTAG Refill Tool it says "waiting for TAG scanning..."  I placed a tag against my phone and even pulled the card out of the spool hub and placed it against my phone as well.  I have a Droid Turbo 2 with the NFC enabled.  Not sure why I cannot get past this point.

I needed to move the Tag.  I apologize.  Simple and effective tool!

In the meantime I would like to have some hints from you about third part PLA filament for a Da Vinci Mini W.

I've red the previous posts and I've searchd for a seller for the Inland PLA, but unfortunately Amazon dooesn't sell it in Italy.
Have you any other suggestions for other PLA brand please?

Sounds like you have placed this tag in your printer multiple times with different values. Once the printer sees the tag you CAN NOT make any changes to it.

You r problem is if you are using paper tags then you DO NOT create a random UID. The UID is already on the tag. You need to create the password, Pack Code and other relevant information on the tag.

I've continued my "experiments" with this fantastic tool.
Finally I've found the correct parameters to use with my Da vinci mini W (firmware 1.2.7).
NO expert mode; PLA; black; "valid serial number" checked; 200 mt.
Now finally I'm printing.
P.s.: Do not configure the wireless settings on the printer. I use a usb connection with the PC always connectec and always sounds good.
