Topic: Filastruding a powder

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried filastruding with a powder? The polymer I want to extrude comes as large chunks so I need to break it up before use. I was going to use a grinder but this produces a powder. Has anyone ever tried and successfully extruded useable filament starting with a powder?

might be helfull to mention the polymer in question.

I believe Elmoret posted that he was able to extrude some nylon powder once.
