Topic: Printer stops and says check filament

I am running my Hueway 3D printer and it has started saying check filament after laying the first layer. I have plenty of filament and it is extruding fine. Never had this problem before. I am running Cura Ultimaker. Any help or suggestions?

does it have a filament sensor ?
is it plugged in ?
I know nothing about this printer never heard of the brand until today!

Is the filament transparent?

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Sometimes, the filament is wound too tightly on the spool and offers resistance while being 3D printed. If your device is constantly seeing troubles with the filament, check if it is wound light enough.

ever tried finding out by asking google in combination with your printer vendor and model?

But that would require them to do all of the searching instead having some one else do it and just hand them the answer..  wink
