best third party filaments for NON pro jr1.0

I am trying to compile a go to list of filament brands that people have used for the jr 1.0 non pro, that have been successful prints. There are a couple of categories such as proto-prints, tabletop models and then high quality models.

When it comes to PLA, what brands and colors seem to work well? Has anyone tried the "Wood" or "Metal" filaments with the jr1.0?

What about PETG

I am aware that this printer is very basic and some materials are never going to work with this printer.

I am just looking for some good PLA brands and color as well as some PETG stuff
