Topic: DaVinvi AiO 3rd party filament problem!

Hi all!
I have been flashing the EEPROM on the filament cartridges to use 3rd party filament in my DaVinci AiO printer. But somehow the firmware on the printer got upgraded to version 1.2.3 and it doesn't recognize the cartridge anymore, it says "cartridge error unidentified cartridge".

I have not been able to find instructions on how to downgrade the firmware. Can I use the DaVinci 1.0 firmware?

Do anyone of you know how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

The board is a newer type from the 1.0. The 1.0 also does not have the scanner function. As for downgrading it depends on your board and your skills. If the reset jumper holes are on your board then you have chance. If not then it would take some soldering on the CPU to install a reset button to short the reset line to ground. In nutshell you are probably stuck and it would be better to convert to a RAMPS setup most likely.
