Topic: EMUTAG stopped working

Hi All,

pulled the printer out today after not using it for about 6 months.  Put new batteries in the EMUtag, flashed new spool data to it in unlocked mode.  Disconnected card from updateemutag software, reconnected to conform the data was good.

When i start the printer (davinici Mini W) the light on the front goes red and the printed just beeps.  XYZware says Heater error and no cartridge detected.

Put in a genuine Filament card and it all works fine. Im flashing with Arduino uno and RC522.

Any ideas please

Double check the "new" batteries. it's not uncommon to get bad ones sometimes.

based on how you spell "conform", I would double check typos in filament color/temperature setting.

I have tried new batteries, also check them with a multimeter and they are fine. Also data seems to be getting written to pages used by Update Emutag which im guessing automatically enters the values for all other pages based on length and temp settings selected.

As the emutag hasnot been used in 6 months im wondering if it needs reflashing, I have tried using AVRDUDE with an ardino as ISP and the example code uploaded. I get an AVRDUDE error and cant find an AVRDUDE.CONF file in the bin folder.

Any ideas why AVRDUDE isnt working

Have managed to reflash the emutag with ntag213-snif.bin but still fails to work

Loaded the card with MIFARE classic RFID tool and its showing as an Ultralight card. re-downloaded the files to make sure they are correct and still the same error.

I think the UID need to start with 04 and end with 80

Emutag is fully working again now. thanks for all replies.

Done a reflash of the Emutag FW using a USB AVR programmer.
