Topic: da vinci 1.0A hotend

I WANT TO STAY STOCK

Need advice. XYZ dose not list a da vinci 1.0A hotend (nozzle) as a replacement part.

I call XYZ tech support and at first they said NO the 1.0 is a completely different "nozzle" then "da vinci 1.0A hotend" would not work!

Then they wanted me to open a ticket. I explained that I just spent a month and many tickets getting a control board. I explained during that time I ask in the ticket I need a hotend "nozzle". Jen said go to the web site and buy one.

So back to the tech on the phone, I asked "DO YOU OR DON"T YOU SELL A da vinci 1.0A hotend". He said hold on. When he returned he said yes the 1.0 will work with the 1.0A

Should I believe him? Dose the 1.0 hotend work with the 1.0A?

thanks for any advice,  mick

To my knowledge the only difference between a 1,0 and a 1.0A was the mainboards layout. The rest of the printer hardware wise is the same machine.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.
