Topic: Windows 10 - 3D Builder - Printer driver for XYZ Da Vinci 1.0w?

The Microsoft website for 3D Builder specifically lists the XYZ Da Vinci 1.0w as supported printer. However that printer doesn't come with a traditional Windows printer driver, and no driver is on the XYZ support site. You only get XYZWare to communicate with your printer.

I have a Window 10 PC which is using XYZWare to communicate just fine with my XYZ Da Vinci 1.0w. But if I start the Microsoft 3D Builder software and scan for printers, no printer is found, as the 3D printer isn't on the list of printers and devices. How do I get 3D Builder to work with my XYZ Da Vinci 1.0w?

It wont work regardless of what MS says as long as you are running stock firmware. The issue is in the way the firmware talks to the PC. The only third party software that does actually talk to the XYZ printers is Simplify3d and it would cost you $150.
