Topic: XYZ printing DaVinci & European Consumer laws ?

I was wondering if XYZ is fulfilling EU (European) consumer laws related to devices sold to private users in a EU country.

Basically I  am thinking on
1) What information do they register, ether inside the program or in the printer, and what information is send to whatever server (external from user location) ?
2) Do they actively/technically shorten the products life span ?
3) Do they, on purpose, technically block use of compatible filament ?
4) Did they inform about this before purchase, or was it written in a non disclosure when installing the Windows printing program ?

Of curse I have seen 3) when using my printer, but did any of you examine the data traffic between computer/3D-printer and the internet, or examine if the filament RFID information is stored (in printer, in computer or on a XYZ server) ?

I really wonder if XYZ is storing information like external IP, serial number, filament serial number & usage on a external server, or local in the printer.

not sure if this is relevant, but I loaded a new refill filament in my printer (including changing the chip for the new one that came with the refill), while connected online and with all the software running on my pc, when I tried to print it came up with an unrecognised cartridge message, even restarting the printer did not clear it, but when I restarted the XYZware software on the pc it then recognised the new chip.
I did wonder at the time if the software checks the chip every time it is started, so could not recognise the new chip until it had maybe updated itself from an online database? or maybe an internal check as the software starts up.

I never have my Jr connected to my computer.  I always use the SD card.  So when I start my xyzware ( version 2.1.21.1 ) it does not have a chance to query the printer chip.

Ah I have the A0is which does not have an SD card option, it has to be connected to the pc to receive the file.

So , I would always disconnect my computer from the internet prior to attaching my printer to it. I personally use a VM computer for my printer and it never gets attached to the internet.
