Yay!
Another pony.

Didn't get a chance to do any finishing. Basically just took it off the printer, cut off a few strings of stray plastic, and glued together with abs cement.

Nice!
Care to share the stl?
Right here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27225
There are 2 STLs for this one, the top half and the bottom half.
Thanks! I've been toying with the idea of chopping up models such as this, and printing the part to make one huge model.
I think netfabb works well for chopping up models so you don't need support, but sometimes I find the pieces of the model don't fit perfectly together, one surface being a little too large. Maybe I just need to recalibrate my printer.

That's what I was afraid of. I used Netfabb basic to chop up the Maltese Falcon into 6 pieces, but I've yet to print it. I should be printing it on Sunday.
Don't forget about the first layer squish causing a lip. Also if you have Y axis backlash that can affect how they fit together as well.
Yes I think it is the first layer squish. I think I am squishing my first layer too much.
How many hours did you have finishing that last one? Looks like an awful lot of hairs and banding to sand down.
