Topic: Remove coupling from Barrel

What would be the easiest way to go about removing the coupling from the barrel when disassembling?  I have thoroughly cleaned the entire barrel and auger, but the coupling is still stuck on the barrel. Thoughts?

If you where doing ABS then you could try soaking the in Acetone over night and see if it dissolves any ABS that might be keeping things locked up.

You shouldn't need to remove the coupler for cleaning.  I have never needed to remove the couplings on my two filastruders.  If you do feel that you need to remove the coupling, then you would likely need to heat up the coupler and then use plumbers pipe wrenches to unscrew the coupling, of course wearing any protection needed since the barrel and coupler would be VERY hot.
