Topic: Da vinci jr any luck with ninjaflex?
I can't get ninjaflex to print because it ends up just getting jammed right before entering the tube pretty early on in a print. Is there something I can change to get it to print properly?

Is your printer modified in any way? materials like Ninja flex become really goopy before passing through the print nozzle. You'd need to pass it through slowly to mitigate those problems.
I'm using slic3r and threedubber so I can print at 5mm/sec and even then it still jams up.

I haven't tried on mine, but I'm guessing you would need a modified extruder. See the yellow extruder about midway down on this page: http://www.3ders.org/articles/20140311- … aflex.html
The Jr extruder does not have that triangular wedge on the output side of the extruder gears, so the filament can bunch up in there before it enters the bowden tube.

I figured that it was something like that and it doesn't seem that there is a da vinci jr specific solution. Anyways would just printing a whole new enclosure work? Something like this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:320699 I would just modify the screw positions to match up with the jr
