Hello everyone,
I'm a 3D printer manufacturer.  We have independent R&D department, focusing on 3d printers only.

US distributor imported our 3d printer and pricing more than $900.
BUT HERE IT'S LESS THAN $500!  (1KG Class A filament and a good-quality tool kit included)

Just an FYI, the reason we sit and watch our printers is not from fear of the filament running out but fear of something going wrong and the unit catches fire. There have been several cases in the last few years where a 3d printer caused the total loss of a home due to a logic error or other problem that caused it to over heat and catch fire..

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Hi Carl,
Thank you soooooo much for your suggestion, it's very helpful.
Yes every manufacturer must keep user safety in mind.

We set the max temp in 275℃ (527℉).
If there is a logic error of motherboard causing overheat, the fuse in power will be blew out and power supply stop working then.
Also, the main parts in ET-K1 are inflaming retarding
Our 3d printer are all certified by FC,CE,RoHS.
We may consider adding webcam in the future.

Blue tape on aluminum is very old technology.  It should be removable glass, PEI plastic sheet or an adhesive film like Buildtak.  Nobody wants to print on blue tape.

The filament detector is a nice touch.  In addition to detecting jammed filament, it would be good if it could detect if the amount of filament extruded is less than the amount commanded.  It is possible for filament to be not jammed, but still not extruding as much as it should because the hot end cannot melt the plastic fast enough to keep up with the speed of printing.  A line of gcode could require 30mm of filament to be extruded, but the detector measures only 25mm of filament ran through.  It could then slow down the speed of the print until the amount detected equals the amount required.   Not many printers have a filament detector on them, and this would be an innovative way to use it beyond simple detection of jams.

You may be misinformed by your R&D guys. The most common issue with printers is that the logic will freeze due to a power glitch or noise on the USB cable. When this happens the controller is no longer monitoring and controlling the temperature. The unit will just keep heating to the point that the aluminum heater block will melt. The heater core will glow red hot and anything it comes in contact with such as your print, or your blue tape will burn.  There is no short on the output side of the power supply due to the way the controller controls the heaters. The only time the fuse will blow is if the heater wires are shorted directly. This has been an ongoing issue with printers and many have installed elaborate smoke detectors linked to kill switches and so on so at the first sign of high temps the power gets interrupted.

Unless you are using some new elaborate controller that has yet to be seen then your printer will have the same issue if the logic freezes.

In all honesty I can't blame an international company to try and tap into a new market by any means they can. Either they found a cheaper way to ship themselves, or it is still fulfilled by their reseller (most likely the latter).
The thing I find funny is that the K1 asking price is near $1k, but now is beings advertised for $500, which makes the picture much clearer as to their profit margins. If you have too much profit of each product, you are losing out on more sales.
Plus, given the features, I would peg this for a $500 unit. Much more reasonable.

We sell it in different place and use different brand or logo, so it doesn't mean undercut whom.
This is just a advertising slogan.

Sellers have to pay 15% of total price to amazon if sell on their platform, we do not have amazon store.
We factory sell it directly here that's why the price is lower.

Amazon charges a lot from seller. 15% of total order price and warehouse fee etc.,
We factory sell it directly so price lower.
