Topic: Head Returns to Drip Box and Bed Re-Levels Before Print

I'm using a Davinci 1.0 with Simplify3D.

Regardless of what I try to print, here is what happens every time I start the print:
1. Bed heats up, levels to correct position and the print head goes to the correct starting position... then stops there for about 10 seconds.
2. Print head goes back to the drip box and the bed raises as high as it will go.
3. The print head attempts to start the print with the bed still heighted.. causing the print head to ram itself against the bed and spew out filament as if it were printing.

I'm at a loss of why this is happening. I didn't mess with any Z coordinate settings or g code.

Is it calibrated correctly? and if so try lowering your bed so you do not have this problem.

Post your start gcode from simplify3d here. It is most likely the problem if it initially homes correctly.
