Topic: where to get pellets.

reading through the forums seems most of the supplier links are dead ends these days. wondering where folks are getting theirs  in the UK/EU.

got some PLA from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161945298848? … EBIDX%3AIT  thou it crossed the whole EU to get to me!!!.

then I've seen http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PLA-Pellets-f … _vZTBw_i4g to be honest that looks like they chopped up a cheap spool.

Colorfab has a very good reputation I have used some of there filaments . I have no reason to believe there pellets will be anything but high quality.

Re: where to get pellets.

colorfab  pack do looks tempting but theres very little saving just over a kilo pack cost as much as spool.

had to dig this link  up!! tongue http://store.os3dp.com/bundles/35-pla-4 … llets.html bit daft to claim free shipping then go on to charge almost double compared to inside the us with shipping. like there bundles  but wonder if  i get hammered with  import charges with pellets

Re: where to get pellets.

This company is based out of seattle. I have ordered the blue, pink and orange in 10 pound bags for $30, which includes shipping.

I am very happy with all three with the orange being my favorite. The Pink is more of a dark red, and the blue comes out quite dark as well. Both the pink and blue have sparkles in them, its a nice touch. I have found that they don't need to be dried, but the pink and blue can be a bit brittle compared to the orange. Of the 30 pounds I have extruded about 15 and quite happy.

I run around 190c and that seems like a nice temp for all three.

Printing I run the bed at 105 and the nozzle at 258.
