Topic: XYZ 1.0 printer Repeter

I have a problem connecting a Repeter / XYZ 1.0 printer.

Using Device Manager I have set the Baud Rate to 38400, 8, N, Hardware.
On the printer set Baud rate to the same and saved to SD card.
I set machine type to "Cartesian robot", anf firmware type to
"RepRap(Marlin/Repetlier/Sprintet". 


When I try to connect using SIMPLIFY3D 3.1.1 I get the following


Attempting connection at \\.\COM29...
  Testing plaintext communication protocol...
  Testing binary communication protocol...
  Testing alternate communication protocols...
  Attempting RTS reset and trying again...
  Connection failed.


Any suggestions will be welcome.

The comport number has to be the same. You need to see what comport windows is reporting the printer is on. The set the software for that port. Also port 29 could be an issue as some software does not like ports higher than 10. Why are you using 29? What else do you have that you can't use 2,3,4, or even 5?

Thanks, reset software back to Da Vinci.  Now Simplify works normal.  I will try Rep sw next week.

If you use the same numbers in Repetier that the Divinci is using in Simplify, all should be well.
