Topic: 1.0a Wiring Harness Issues

So the main harness going to the extruder PCB failed awhile ago. I rebuilt it quickly with parts from Radio Shack, it worked but was ugly. It failed again, now I'm rebuilding it using CAT5 cable. I need to know what the difference in the 2 red wires are. I have a multimeter so I can test if need be.

CAT5 cable seems not the right choise, they are not flexible enough IMO! But anyway - about the two red cables: I assume you talk about the two red cables with fabric insulation? These are for heating the nozzle! You can simply follow them to the nozzle. If you talk about different cables it would help to post a picture!

USB cable works well and is very flexible.
