I considered that, haven't tried yet. Seems it would be a good choice though since it wont tend to gum up mixing with dust and other debris. Any one have any experince with graphite on plastic?

A discussion on R/C cars said to stay away from anything petroleum based, and recommended SuperLube, whose label says it's good for plastic. It's also safe enough for incidental contact with food (USDA H1) which is a plus.

Any lube that isn't petrol based should be fine.
