Topic: Printing something that resembles my 3yr old sons drawings

Hey guys,

After a little help/advice.

I've just finished putting together my first Kossel 3d printer.

Followed the instructions best I can (some parts were not in English :S haha).

Anyways all seems good and well...using the software provided and steps to calibrate/set up. Handy klingeltöne

The hot end heats all good and the printer moves well and the pla filament comes out.......BUT it doesn't print anything like what it should....I've only done one print and it printed something that would look like what my 3 yr old son would scribble on paper.

Any advice?

A picture of what you are getting, and what you should get would help. Also maybe settings and other details. At this point all we could do is guess and have you chasing ghosts without all the details you can supply.

agree - more details (pictures) would be very helpful.

as a complete guess, my first thought is that the nozzle is not close enough to the bed.
