Topic: How to change the nozzle size on a 5th gen MakerBot.
Not many people posting seem to have 5th gen Makerbots, and I don't blame them, but I wanted to post this in the event it helps someone later on, and because I couldn't find this info anywhere on the net.
After I swapped the standard 0.4mm nozzle on our MakerBot Mini for a wear resistant 0.6mm, I noticed there was no option in the slicing settings in MakerBot Desktop to change the nozzle size. Lame. But, if you click the button that will open the settings in the text editor, you can change it there. I can't guarantee these are all the values you need to change, as I didn't notice any extrusion width settings, but it got us up and printing again.
Here is my simple walkthrough complete with decent, royalty free music!
