Topic: Printer Jumping in X axis

Hello Everyone

having a few issues again, something i havent seen before,

I have been trying to print a fairly large and simple model. Printing at .3mm using Slic3r and repetrietr host, i am getting a really bizarre jump in the X axis, at what appears to be a random point.Attached are some images of the models, obviously as soon as i saw they had buggered up i stopped them so these are work in progress.

Attempt 1, This one jumped off course on approximately the 40th layer
Attempt 2, This one jumped off at a similar time
Attempt 3, This one jumped off a lot later at the 49th layer

My instant reaction was that there was a problem with my stl file, however i have run the file through an stl fixer, and done plenty of checks, In addition to this, once inserted into repetier the g code calculates perfectly, and does not show any issues or jumps. It seems to be lost in translation during the actual printing, If anyone has any ideas that would be great!!!

Thanks

Tim

Make sure all the set screws are tight around your pulleys, this has happened a couple times to people.  Read the similar topics at the bottom of this thread for more info too.
