Topic: Bed won't stop rising

I have the da Vinci 1.0 AiO and when I turned it on last week and told it to go to home axis, the bed just kept rising past the sensor and gave me an error code of 0030. If  I hadn't turned it off it would have broken the plastic strut above the extruder.

I contacted XYZ Printing and all the suggestions they provided have not worked.

So, any ideas?

@cptrango - sounds like your end stop has failed. Have you tried to trigger it manually?! I'd suggest to pull it out and test it. Or swap with the working one from XY to see if that's sensor or maybe cabling or board itself.

Hi,

First, thank you for the quick responses.
Second, I think you guys are talking about the sensor in the back right? There's a little stick that triggers the sensor and tells the bed to stop.

I pulled an reinserted the connection and the bed still wont stop. Let me try and swap it.

It was a sensor issue. Replaced the old with a new and it works fine...Thanks for the help
