Topic: DRV8834 pcb capacitors

What is the value of the 2 capacitors used in the new pcb diagram.
The one using the DRV8834 stepper driver.
I identified them in yellow in the following picture.

Re: DRV8834 pcb capacitors

The value should be printed on them.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

I don't think he has an actual board on hand, he's trying to duplicate it.  Uriah should chime in on this one.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.

Exactly.
I am building my scanner and my pcb.
I had no success with the A4988.
I just received my DRV8834 and will reproduce the new design instead.

Re: DRV8834 pcb capacitors

I put together a test board and I was using a 47 uF (the smaller one) and a 100uF capacitor (larger one) going to the 5V line on the Pi.  Pololu recommends a min. of 47 uF for the stepper driver which is what was used in the prototype board that was posted.

Re: DRV8834 pcb capacitors

This is exactly what I guessed from the look and size of the capacitor.
But before soldering I would appreciate an official confirmation.
If somebody could check the board or if Uriah could confirm, it would be awesome.

I don't have it in front of me right now but will take a look later.
