My da Vinci is running repitere and I cleaned the extruded with the metal wire brush. I saw a spark while cleaning and now no voltage is coming off the mother board. But nothing looks fried. Anyideas? Thanks
There are zero resistors near the hotend output. They are used as fuses and will open when a short is created. Those will nee to be replaced.

The same thing happened to me. I first tried to buy a new board and that worked. The problem is that the resistor shorted that acts as a fuze. The best thing to do is replace it with a wire. Removing it completely.

If you do that then the next time you short it, you could have a fire. The fuse is there for your protection and to comply with UL and other regulatory commissions.
Where did you buy you motherboard? The only one I can find is Half the printer cost. I went around to all the transistor and put a screw driver across them. This didn't help. Instead when I put it over the 12v resistor the led went out. Any ideas?

You probably blew every transistor you put the screw driver across and burned out any component thst resistor was limiting current to. You can't just hot wire it like and old car.

It's not a transistor that needs replacing. Near the output for the heater there are two zero ohm resistors. Those are used as fuses and are now open as they should be. They need to be replaced. Most solder a real fuse holder in their place so in the even they use the brush with power applied again it will be easier to replace.
Can you view the photo? Everything looks closed except r272 is that supposed to empty.

R271 and R56 are the fuses. With the power off and a multimeter set to resistance, what is the resistance you measure across each of those parts?
That was it one was poped. Thank you for your help.
